Valerie G. Traore
Valerie founded Niyel in 2008 after seeing the need for credible agencies focusing on advocacy, global collaboration, and strategy development. She has over 19 years of professional experience in campaigning and advocacy on a wide range of issues, including human rights and rights-based programming, development, human security and conflict, politics, and international relations. Valerie is obsessed with elephants and loves watching animated children’s movies and cartoons.
Zeina Ndong
Zeina Ndong is the founder and CEO of Myria Consulting, a strategic and financial advisory firm dedicated to the development of SMEs through strategic planning, organization and change management, operational support, and resource mobilization. Her work has a strong emphasis on promoting development, and she has experience in the public and private sectors, as well as NGOs and international foundations.
Tasha Mills
Tasha is responsible for overall leadership, guidance, and direction on people and business growth, and also takes the lead on developing short and long-term strategies for Niyel’s sustainable growth. Tasha has a background in talent management, leadership development, human resources management, succession and workforce planning, and performance management. Tasha has been a huge fan of Prince since she was in 8th grade and has seen him live in concert over 20 times.
Mamour Ba
Mamour is the head of Niyel’s finances and administration, and advises the Executive Director on investment strategies. He has a background working in both private and public sectors with a focus on internal audits, developing and implementing rigorous financial systems, risk management, and administrative management. Mamour loves spending time on his farm where he raises sheep and grows maize, millet, and peanuts.
Laetitia Sadiya Badolo
Laetitia is a policy analyst and development agent responsible for providing strategic leadership to the advocacy team by overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of all projects while ensuring impact at all levels. She has a background in developing and supporting strategies for clients, and working with campaigners and communicators on human rights issues. Laetitia loves to dance, cook, and watch football and tennis matches.
